Aspartame: Miserably sweet
This video changed my views on aspartame. I was doing heavy research into the subject and having a hard time getting through all the facts, then Brad found this video for me and it summed everything up.
At the end of this video they mention a sweetener called Stevia but they don’t go into it. I’ll go more into with some articles that you can go look at in the future but for now I’ll give you a little background. Stevia is a herb that is extreamly sweet. You can find it in your health food stores in powder or liquid form. It’s all natural, calorie free, and really good for you. According to some articles that I’ve read the big companies like coke, pepsi…and whoever makes gum, want to use it but the FDA will not approve it as a sweetener. So when you’re looking for it it will say “dietary supplement” which to me is hilarious. Anyway, most believe that it will not be approved because the makers of aspartame would like to continue making money (like any business). Once you watch this video you’ll have a good idea of the hold that Nutrasweet has on the FDA, and perhaps a little less respect for Donald Rumsfield.
Enjoy and PLEASE tell me what you think. Perhaps you too will join me in a boycott against aspartame.
